Pretty surroundings and a good base for exploring the area. the owners have been living there for generations, which is really cool. They give a lot of good suggestions as to where to visit and what to do. the breakfast was absolutely incredible, with loads of fresh ingredients, and the whole farmhouse ambiance was very relaxing.

The parking situation is chaotic and limited, so you can't park outside of certain areas but there is no actual designated parking spots. Our room was quite small, and the walls were so thin I could hear people snoring in the next room, which was quite disturbing.

Hardly a 15-minute walk from featherstone castle, which was suitable for us. 20 km from Carlisle Lake District airport: D

The breakfast was fantastic, offering a wide variety of tasty options which we really enjoyed, and we were pleasantly surprised to find a pool on the premises, making for a great holiday spot in Haltwhistle.

We found it easy to explore the surrounding area, with plenty of paths leading from the farm to the nearby castle. It was so nice to be served by someone who was not only attentive but also willing to chat about the area and offer recommendations. the setting of the farm was picturesque, with pretty views from our room windows and the chance to spot rabbits and pheasants on the country road.

That the wifi signal was a bit weak at times.

The breakfast was delicious and had a great variety of options. , the owners were very friendly and provided useful information about the surrounding area. The location of the hotel was perfect for exploring the nearby attractions and the stunning views from the hotel were a bonus.

The parking space was very limited and it was difficult to find a spot. the walls in our room were paper thin, which resulted in a lack of privacy and being able to hear noise from adjacent rooms.
